Parish Pastoral Committee's

The Parish has two very strong Pastoral Committees, St Joseph's Church, Ballyshannon & The Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea Bundoran, who have continued on from the development of both their P.D.R Groups.(Parish, Development & Renewal)

The aim of the Pastoral Committee is to support the faith life of the parishioners of all ages.

The Pastoral Committee is a group in which priests and people and people work together as partners, to build up a truly Christian community.  It is hoped to do this in the following ways

      (a)        to involve parishioners in the celebration of Mass and the Sacraments

      (b)        to encourage people of all ages to be involved in the faith life of the Parish

      (c)        to interact with other groups in the Parish to further the values of the Gospel and in so doing enrich their own lives.

     (d)        to set up further sub-committees such as a baptismal group / bereavement group and prayer groups to support parishioners at important times in their lives.

The Pastoral Committee are open to any suggestions Parishioners may have in the furthering of these aims.
